An acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, Bob Egan is best-known for his work in the studios and on the stages of the world for Blue Rodeo (17 years) and Wilco (2 years), and the over 120 records he has recorded on as a session musician including Tragically Hip’s 2000 Juno-award winning Single of the Year, Bobcaygeon. He is a member of 3 Canadian Halls of Fame and was awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2014. Bob retired from the music business in 2017 to work in the municipal sector. He is currently the Film and Music Officer for the City of Kitchener working to remove barriers and create opportunities for community members to pursue their passions in these disciplines.
